  • Children's Class meets once a week, 2 hours per class.
  • Adult's class meets once a week, 2 hours per class.
  • Students can join drawing, painting or clay modeling classes after a session has begun.  
  • The class rate will be prorated based on the day of enrollment.

Drawing /Painting (grades k-12th & adults)

The class will focus on nurturing creativity while developing motor coordination and visual perception. Students will learn basic drawing and painting techniques involving color, perspective, and shading. Subjects may include still life, animals, landscape, cityscape, people etc. Forms may include cartoon, manga, drawing, sketch, painting, mixed medium, etc.  Students may use pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, pastel, acrylic, oil,  mixed medium, etc.

  • Children class time (2 hours per week):

    • Tuesday:       6:30-8:30pm
    • Wednesday:  10:00am-12:00pm,  6:30-8:30pm

    • Saturday:      9-11am, 10am-12pm, 12:30-2:30pm, 1-3pm, 2-4pm, 2:30-4:30pm, 3-5pm.
    • Sunday:        9-11am, 10am-12pm, 12:30-2:30pm, 1-3pm, 2-4pm,  2:30-4:30pm.

  • Adult class time (2 hours per week):

  • College portfolio Prep: (Grade 10-12) This class is for high school juniors and seniors in need of portfolio preparation in painting, drawing, illustration, graphic, industrial, interior, architectural, and fashion design. Instruction focuses on meeting the entrance requirements for acceptance into art schools and universities. 

  • AP Studio Art Exam: This course is helping students to prepare on AP Studio Art Exam.


  • Adults: Students will learn advanced art skills with emphasis on composition, techniques, mediums, and styles. Students work independently at their own speed within their specific areas of interest. Students will develop  creativity and individuality using art as a tool for personal expression. Materials may include: pencil, charcoal, pastel, pen & ink, watercolor, acrylic, oils. 

  • Tuition:
               * $15/hour if tuition paid by session, plus $2 material cost for each class;     
              * $16.5/hour if tuition paid by class, plus $2 material cost for each class.

Digital Painting (grades 5th-12th)
An introduction to basics of digital art. Students will learn an array of techniques for coloring and line works, the difference between vector and raster images, and how to properly set up their work for print or online display.

  • Class time: (2 hours a week, TBD)
  • Tuition: $350 (10 weeks, maximum 5 students per class, lab and material included)

Introduction to 3D Modeling, Rendering, and Animation (grades 5th-12th)

This course covers basic techniques of three-dimensional (3-D) modeling, rendering and animation utilizing industry standard Blender software. This class is designed to provide the student introductory exposure to:

  • Principles, terms and explanations in modeling, rendering, and animation basics along with the concepts and principles of animation planning.
  • Practices of creating geometric models and environments from basic shapes called primitives from within the Blender Modeler
  • Concepts of rendering, the process of making the environment look real using camera, lights and materials
  • Basic principles and techniques of animating a modeled object. The concepts covered will be motion and time, scale, translation, rotation and distortion.  A student will learn basic rigging, bones, key framing and rendering animation sequences.Students who complete the course will have the requisites and understanding necessary for more advanced modeling, photorealistic rendering and animation classes..

Clay Modeling (grades 1st-6th)
Students will make three dimensional clay models of their favorite movie characters, flowers, animals, small decorative objects using air dry clay.

  • Class time: (1.5 hours a week, TBD)
  • Tuition: $300 (10 weeks, material included)

Comic Art (grades 3rd-12th)
An introduction to using comics as a storytelling medium. Students are free to work in any medium they fell comfortable with for the class, but basic drawing supplies will be needed for process work. Students will learn to use 1-panel, 3-panel and full page comic stories, with the option of multi-page projects for ambitious students. We’ll also explore how to format writing for a comic script as well as doing sever creative exercises including script flipping where students exchange scripts, and turn it into a comic. Comic round robin where students will take turns drawing panels on the same comic and continuing the story of another.
